Desde hace muchos años se sabe que el tener mayor cantidad de grasa corporal aumenta el riesgo de tener varios tipos de cánceres. Hace unas semanas fue publicado en New England Journal of Medicine, una de las revistas más prestigiosas de medicina, un nuevo estudio que muestra como el tener menor grasa corporal reduce el riesgo de al menos 13 tipos de cáncer, entre ellos estómago, colon, mama, hígado y páncreas.
Por otra parte existen otros tipos de cáncer que esta asociación no pudo ser comprobada.
En este sentido el ejercicio regular es una excelente herramienta para mantener nuestra grasa corporal controlada.
